Name For A Tv Exercise Program For Those Age 50+

Posted by burnberg on 500 Points
This program is aimed for those viewers age 50+ who are unable to join exercise groups at their community senior center or rec center but want to maintain their fitness and workout at home. The classes range from in chair yoga, to light aerobics, from abdominal work from the floor or chair to stretching and strength training. We need an engaging name that promotes healthy aging as a positive! As an example: Too-Fit-To-Quit (already taken)!

Is this a physical, shippable product that prospects buy via an infomercial? Or is this a television program that will air on a set day at a set time?

Great start for ideas to name our program. Gary, in response to your question: This is an 8 week exercise series that will repeat on the local PBS program and is intended for those who need exercise between workouts, or have transportation isses or who are just getting started with a fitness program. The majority are assumed to be 50+ in age, we don't use words like Senior or Elderly since there are negative stereotypes associated with these terms. The instructor is from our holistically focused senior community center where we have 22 additional classes, so our hope it to engage them more fully over time. We find people subject to losing their health and mobility without exercise, and are more prone to falls, which can be devastating. Our goal is to stimulate and engage folks to participate. The name needs to be fun and descriptive like the original example, which is already in use! Thanks everyone!!!!! Keep the ideas coming!
