Subject Line Testing - Read Rate Lift?

Posted by krenskistoli on 250 Points
My team is considering implementing more A/B tests for subject lines. We've had good results in the past but I'm a little concerned that we'll be investing more energy into A/B testing campaigns for results that don't pay for the effort to test.

Is there a hard lift % that we should target with our tests from an ROI perspective?

A/B tests for small differences don't yield big results like testing BIG differences do. So if you are concerned about the return on your time/effort test BIG differences, not small ones.

And no, there is no hard lift percentage you should target. Each case is different.
