How Advertising Impacts Consumer Behaviour

Posted by itikay25 on 250 Points
Hey everyone,

I am very confused about writing a marketing dissertation. Though I am interested in advertising but would like any other suggestions on which it would be easier to collect data and would be beneficial in the future.

Thanks

I'm afraid I'm not quite clear on the substance of your question. Could you elaborate?

"Advertising" is way too broad a topic. Narrow your focus to a particular medium, a particular company or industry, and a specific geographic location.

One way to view this is as a way to establish your credential as an expert for the company you hope to work for once you get the degree. What topic would THEY value?

    Thanks for the response.

How celebrity endorsements affects consumer purchase behavior? This is a topic I encountered. Can anyone provide me with better options or rephrase this questions in a better way. I want to work on a topic which caters to both advertising and buying behavior. I am open to your valuable suggestions.

The interactive influence of brand and country of origin on purchase intention of consumers: a study of leisure footwear

Is this a good topic for dissertation? Please reply asap.

    Thanks

It sounds too broad and vague. Where are the buyers located? Which footwear companies? What period of time? Measured how? What does "influence" mean? What type of leisure footwear?

Narrow your focus to something you can get your arms around. Celebrity endorsements in what industry, what country, what target audience, which celebrity?
