be a sponsor at their golf tournaments. golf tourneys have sponsors for pretty much anything: closest to hole, hole in one, longest drive, meals, beer cart (prob the best one), and the list goes on. and for the contests, you can give away your services as a prize or something similar.

being at the so, not only do you get face-to-face time, but you're probably going to get acknowledged in event promo/mktg, speeches, and any community newsletter articles.

How does your target audience decide on a kitchen/bath remodel? How do they pick the supplier? How do they develop the short list of candidates? Where/how do they even know who the good suppliers are?

You may want to do 6-8 face-to-face informational interviews with these folks, just to see what they have to say, what is on their minds, how they think. (Don't try to sell them anything. Just ask them a few high-gain questions, listen carefully to their responses and take detailed notes.) You will be very surprised at how much you will learn.

Can you identify/contact the property managers at the various communities? They are likely the residents first turn to for recommendations.

First you shoud add few efforts to make your website better because all the pages except home page displayed 404 error. All the suggestions given above are worth if you implement them in very organized manner. And one important thing you should do is to collect emails of your targeted audience and develop a rich database of email. You can do this by registering people for special event or contest which you are likely to organize in community house.

Al would probably get more responses if he reacted to the ones we've already provided. There are a lot of questions we've posed and suggestions noted, and he hasn't indicated if we're on the right track or not. Leaving the question open longer probably won't motivate more responses the way some reactions would.
