Webmaster Tools

Hi Everyone. Only about 1/3 of our pages seem to have been indexed by Google. The load time is not that great and not sure if that is what the issue is or how to fix it.

I "inherited" this website www.gentlylovedjewelry.com

Does anyone have any advice or thoughts they might be able to share? Thank you so very much!

Load time is likely a problem. Duplicate content is likely a problem as well. You can speed up page load by reducing the resolution of images that don't need to be high-res. A website designer will know how to use the various debugger tools to identify the loading bottlenecks (images, javascript, external references, etc.).

How authoritative, relevant, and well anchored are the links to your pages? How many pages within your site do other pages on your site link to? What kind of social media links do you have coming in?

Thank you regarding questions about links. I will check on numbers as far as internal page links. We have social media links to Twitter, Facebook and Google plus. We have standard links with Yelp, vintage and bridal directories, etc. That is definitely a work in process.

I appreciate the help very much and certainly need to get better numbers! (started two weeks ago :)
