Why Are Research Report File Sizes So Bloated?

I love your site, content and events. Lately, the reports I've attempted to download are HUGE.

For example, the 27-page Website Metrics Guide (MProfs_Website-Metrics_N5C7V.pdf) is 210 MB.

    The PDFs may be set up at a high DPI ratio in InDesign and exported as PDFs without the file being reduced in size.

    We've continued making multiple attempts to obtain the source documents with no success, so I'm afraid some of the reports remain all-American: Overweight and difficult to stuff into a business-class airline seat!
