Pre Launch Activities To Bring Crowd?

Hello friends,

Can anyone help me how to create local buzz about Inauguration of mall. I want crowd to be present on the Inauguration day!!!

    Why should someone want to attend the mall opening? What's remarkable about it in your community?

    Details help us provide you with targeted advise. Otherwise all you will get is random suggestions like offer free beer - it will draw a crowd but is it the right crowd?

    So what can you tell us about the mall, the area, the target audience, any event theming, and other details?

    I have seen many places use give-aways or discounts as ways to get people in the door at new business openings.

    You can give some very large discounts or freebies to the first x people as a way to get people to show up very early (often camping out), which could help build buzz if you can get this fact on the local news stories.

    The specials done on Black Friday in the States are examples of ways to get people to the mall and gain buzz. if you are no sure what these are (if you are outside the States), Google "Black Friday".
