Who's your target audience? Where are they located? What's so special about your offerings?

Why does this name have to be "punchy"?
  • Posted by quentin.baxter on Author
Target audience will be in two categories a) Restaurant chefs and b) home cooks who appreciate entertaining or good cooking.
The name needs to stand out instantly recognizable amongst the large number of spice / condiment / salt market.

Is there any particular theme (bold, subtle, complex, spicy heat, etc)or specialty for your seasonings? Do they have an ethnic influence or target a style of cooking?

Thanks to everyone that posted a reply. We have decided to go with the following name Linoko

I don't get it. What does "Linoko" mean or communicate? Is it a rare spice?

If it's a nonsense name then you'll need a hefty budget in order to gain recognition among your target audience -- especially considering how broad your target audience definition is.

You may want to revisit your business and marketing strategy.

Linoko means Spice or "Life Spice" which broadly covers the salt/sugar and rubs that we will be doing and will allow us to extend into other spice product lines down the track.
