Best Ways To Promote Tv Ad On Socail Media

I currently work for a small financially based company and I've been asked to explore the best ways to promote our current TV ad on social media. In short, the company offers our members help when they need it most (financially) We help people to save, buy their own homes and make the most of their hard earned cash.

I'm very new to social media and what would really help is a simple 5 point strategy what to do and what not to do. A steer on what is effective.

    Like any kind of marketing, it all begins with a deep understanding of your target audience. Who are they? Where are they? What's important to them? Are they even using social media? If so, which platforms? What are their pain-points? What words/phrases do they use when they discuss their needs, desires and aspirations?

    Once you understand that, you'll be able to work through an overall marketing strategy that may or may not include social media.

    If you start with social media as the goal, you will almost certainly miss the mark.

    what he ^^^ said. also: where does this TV ad reside for on-demand viewing? YouTube? Your site? that's a big part of this equation.

    As a minimum, get some stills of various parts of your commercial and highlight the visual with appropriate marketing copy.
