Proposal

Posted by ayushissinha on 25 Points
We have come up with new concept for fashion in Kids and my target market is parents

I'm working on a project whose success will be based on a strong marketing campaign. The campaign will build a brand name. We want to pitch celebrity to be the face to represent the product. She is an international celebrity whose name is recognized world wide and more important, she is an icon to the baby boomer generation. Her associate asked me to send a proposal outlining what the celebrity would do. Is there a 'model' for writing a proposal to a celebrity asking for their endorsement? If one is to be created, what information should the document contain? can any body share any kind of format???

Thank you!

There is no proven model or template for what you want to do. Even if there were such a template, you're better off creating one that serves your specific needs.

Explain what you want to do, why the celebrity should consider your proposal (including the compensation plan), the strength of your financial position (investors and equity partners), and perhaps the executive summary of your business plan -- to demonstrate that you've gone way beyond the "dream" stage. Offer to meet with the celebrity or her representative to discuss and to answer any questions.

Do your homework and look into other brands the celebrity may be endorsing and other commitments she has made before you contact her, of course.
