Us Law To Contact Businesses By Email

Hi

I posted this question earlier on and received an interesting feedback but I am still unsure whether I can contact businesses in the US by email.

Just to clarify I have never previously talked to them any idea on what the limitations are?

Can I email them?

    Probably. Comes down to how specifically they got the email addresses, as you aren't supposed to send messages to addresses harvested from the web.

    Then it is a matter of following the rules regarding providing unsubscribe method that works, providing address for who is sending, etc.
