Artifax will have its Pros & Cons

    Pros
    Unique
    Catchy
Should be Easy to Copyright / Trademark
You are Probably the Only Company in Your Region with That Name

    Cons
    Will require more Extensive Branding
Spelling can be Confusing so You will need to Consistently Brand & Hyperlink & Market

    Get a Good Logo

    ARTIFAX
    Tile & Marble

    Good Luck!

Thanks for that. I was also thinking of "Set In Stone"

Who specifically is your target market? Where?
Why would they want to purchase from you?
Since you're selling tile, I'd assume you want the word "Tile" in your business name (Artifax won't mean anything to most people, and "Set in Stone" doesn't clearly state what your business does).

One thing I assume you will also want a web presence - when I last started a business and was choosing a name, I spent time on a web registration site (like godaddy.com) and entered in the names I was considering to see what URLs were available. Hope was to find an available URL that matches the company name.

I just ran through a few options (setinstone.com, set-in-stone.com, artifax.com, etc.) and in that quick look I did find that artifaxtile.com is available.

Who is the target audience? Where?

Do you manufacture/finish, sell or set the tile? To whom? What unique benefit do you provide from the customer's perspective? Why might they hire, or buy from, you instead of a competitor?

Artifax - Tile, Stone and Slab

The Slab recommended, those who know your business it is a plus. Those who do not, the word itself will be remembered
