Modern Trade Activation For Energy Drinks

Hi All,
An energy drink that is already available in the South Asian Market will be relaunched with additional flavors. In the local market, the Modern Trade is the channel which connects with the Target Group the most, and it generates the highest volumes. Hence, i am looking at a strategy to activate the brand in Modern Trade and get the buzz going.
Obviously, we will be conducting Sampling Sessions to induce product Trial. In addition to this (Or as complementary to this), I want to do something out of the ordinary, that will bring the brand to life, and get the conversation going.
Brand's target is 15-28 youth, outgoing, SEC A&B upper.

    This sounds like an appropriate occasion to give away some inexpensive premium item ... perhaps a water bottle, or a key chain, or a foam cup holder, etc. With brand identification, of course.
