Multiple Fb Pages For Business Locations

Posted by mjfritz on 125 Points
Currently have two locations for our business; each one having their own individual facebook page. We use each page to showcase photos of events, workshops, parties, etc that take place at the specific location. However, sometime we have events, workshops, parties in location other than inside the actual business. It may be a park, a hotel, etc. My question, when wanting to display pictures from these events taking place outside of the business which facebook page to I use to display the photos? Or do I set up another facebook account just for the purpose of these external events?

Consider sharing them on both pages, but use different copy for each entry.

Just an example so I'm understanding. :)
Studio East - I host a wine tasting. Post pictures of wine event on Studio A's page.
Studio West - I host live music. Post pictures of music event on Studio B's page.
In our local park - I host a acroyoga workshop. Post pictures of yoga on Both A's and B's page?

Do you think that fractures our followers whom may be tagging friends? Or sharing pictures?

    I'm thinking:
    a) post on both on both studio pages
    b) post on the studio page "closest" to the offsite event
    c) create a Studio Main fb page where offsite events can be posted

    ??????

I'd go a little further, occasionally posting pictures of Studio B events on Studio A's page (cross-promoting, assuming you have a similar clientele at both locations). That will remind people about your other studio, which may be useful for referrals.

Do I think that fractures your followers? No. Be up front and explain your motives to your community every time you have the chance to. They'll appreciate and may reward your authenticity.

Completely agree and always cross promote studio event with each other. But what about events outside the studio? And just to clarify, not an individual picture, I'm speaking more to an entire photo gallery.

For example. We do a class in the park. We capture 30 photos of the event and want to put them into an individual Album. Where should that Album live? In the studio "closest" to the event location?
