Pet Company Brand Name

Posted by maverickmarketing on 250 Points
Hello,

We are being forced to rebrand. Our current products are a reflective dog vest and reflective leash. Our logo is a heart paw. Future products may not be reflective but will have some element of safety attached to them. We are not limiting ourselves to having the word safety in our name. We are open to anything. We are just looking for something catchy and relevant.
Thank you for your help with this.

Who is the primary target audience? Where?

What is the name now? What is the objective of the name change? What do you want the new name to communicate to your target audience.

What is the unique and compelling benefit your target audience can expect when buying your product(s)? What's in it for THEM?

Why does the name need to be catchy? Wouldn't it be better to communicate a meaningful benefit? When people see a catchy name they may assume that the company doesn't really have anything relevant to say, so they resort to amusement or entertainment in a "catchy" name.
