The ‘best’ email marketing tool for you depends on a variety of aspects. Depending on the size of your list, how often you want to send, what kind of editor do you want available to create emails etc., will all play a part in deciding what email sending platform is best for you.

There’s MailChimp, AWeber, GetResponse and many more you can look into. For your outbound email campaigns, I’d suggest checking out Clickback.

It depends on what you need.

I've been very pleased with www.MyEmma.com for small and medium-sized clients.

Since you said it was for you and your friends, I'll assume it's a relatively small business or organization. In that case, I'd recommend Mailichimp for sure.
