Sarah Welcome is responsible for all database, promotional email and Lead Generation activity at Geeknet and its brands. These include Slashdot, SourceForge, and Geek.com. Serving a largely IT/B2B audience can be challenging, with innovation and staying up to date with new technologies being imperative. Prior to joining Geeknet, Sarah was with International Data Group (IDG), as Director of Customer Intelligence, for over 5 years. In her role her, Sarah was responsible for all database activity, best practices for customer-facing email, and deliverability for all IDGs promotional email, as well as editorial newsletters.
