Kathie has held a wide range of roles in her 13 years with eBay, from internet marketing and product marketing to marketing planning and operations. In her current role as Senior Manager of Email Marketing, she oversees both promotional and transactional emails—over 20 billion emails annually. Kathie believes strongly that email is about finding the right balance between the needs of the subscribers and achieving the goals and objectives for the email program. She doesn't think you can ever learn all there is to know about email marketing, and although she spends way too much time reading industry trends, blogs and reports, she prefers to make decisions based on actual testing and analysis.
