Located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Electronic Arts Canada (EAC) is the largest production studio in North America, responsible for creating some of the biggest video game hit titles in history. We employ over 1700 professionals with aggressive plans to add more top creative talent to our team as we pursue our mission to be the most visionary and commercially successful studio in the world. In pursuit of this mission, we have built a 200,000 sq. foot state-of-the-art studio that comes compete with Theatre, Library, Workout Centre, Cafeteria, Arcade Room, Basketball court, beach volleyball courts, and Soccer field amongst a host of other amazing amenities like onsite dry cleaning/haircuts/car washes, Starbuck's café, and internal university.

Primary Responsibilities:
-Work with development team to define product positioning, feature sets and licensing applications.
-Work with the Marketing Director to develop and execute the Franchise Marketing Plan, which includes product positioning, target market identification and analysis, volume forecasting, budgeting, category & competitive analysis and pricing analysis.
-Lead the development and execution of all consumer marketing materials, including advertising, packaging, retail, PR and online.
-Provide games expertise and knowledge to studio producers and game developers. Assist in the development of game concepts and features.
-Provide constant feedback to studio production group in terms of platform trends, competitive activities, retail sales and consumer trends.
-Supervise the development of consumer qualitative research (focus groups, product reviews) as needed by studio or game developers.
-Develop close relationships with key licensors to insure orderly and timely licensor approvals on advertising, promotions and packaging.
-Evaluate licensor-driven promotions, special events and licensing opportunities.
-Use sales databases to identify trade and consumer trends and provide Studio (producer/exec producer/Studio GM) with quarterly Sales & Marketing Review meetings.
-Present title at quarterly sales meetings.
-Work with trade marketing dept to develop retailer promotions and trade advertising.

Qualifications:

-Gaming knowledge and expertise.
-5-7+ years experience in managing product marketing programs and budgets.
-Strong communications skills and ability to navigate through complex
reporting structures. Previous experience working with creative teams.
-Understanding of product positioning and brand equity. Previous experience working with licensed sports products is desirable.
-Travel required.
-B.A. degree, MBA preferred.
