Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Coordinates the initiatives related to the solicitation of donors. Activities include coordination and implementation of renewal and lapsed campaigns via direct mail and the Web. Works closely with vendors on production of campaigns, ensuring minimization of expenses, maximization of revenue, and implementation of quality control standards. Works closely with Strategy & Communications team to manage content. Services other staff with accountability for programmatic area. Works with others in Membership and Philanthropy to develop and implement donor upgrading strategies. Coordinates soliciation strategies with WO and State Philanthropy staff as guided by the Middle Donor Strategy. Provides support to the Membership Fundraising Manager by working with the Fundraising Management System (FMS) and the Business Information and Analysis team to track campaign results, perform analysis, and produce summary reports for each campaign. Works with the Membership Fundraising Manager to make and implement strategic recommendations.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
•Bachelor’s degree and 2 years related experience or equivalent combination.
•Strong organizational/time management skills and attention to detail required.
•2+ years of direct mail fundraising experience in a non-profit environment, preferably one with 800,000 members.
