Job Description:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage the cultivation and stewardship activities and communications for mid-level donor program (as defined as individuals, corporations and foundations who give ~ $1,000-$24,999 annually) and the $10,000+ donor recognition program. Collaborate with field philanthropy and marketing staff and Membership, Marketing and Philanthropy (MM&P) Division staff to execute the best tactics and communication strategy in support of overall fundraising goals. Provide quality control support for mid-level donor projects tied to donor intent, donor record management, notification of gift upgrades and ensure that this information is accessible to program stakeholders. Manage the internal communication of the Annual Giving & Engagement team to promote programs, tools and resources to staff around the organization.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
•Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field and 4 years’ related work experience or equivalent combination.
Annual giving or other direct fundraising experience preferred.
•Demonstrated project management experience, including strategic planning. Strong attention to detail.
•Demonstrated experience using effective interpersonal skills, listening, diplomacy and tact to build strong relationships with donors, volunteers, and all levels of staff.
•Well-developed written and oral communication, negotiating and organizational skills.
•Ability to use existing technology to achieve desired results.
•Successful experience in managing and tracking multiple prospects and donors.
