Business Development Manager

COMPANY
Texturemedia, a growing and dynamic agency based in Boulder CO, is focused on providing leading Interactive Marketing services for clients such as Website Design and Development, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, New Technologies Implementation, Online Strategy and Branding, Integrated Marketing, Partnership Marketing, and eMarketing.

DESCRIPTION
This is an exceptional opportunity to play a key role on a Business Development agency team. The Business Development Manager supports the Texturemedia business development team by providing acquisition strategy, writing, presentation, administration, relationship development and retention skills.

The department Manager is responsible for generating sales, developing new client relationships, supporting client decision and selection processes, writing client proposals, producing ideas for new projects, presenting agency positioning and competencies in client meetings, and solidifying long-term new client relationships. This position will help identify and drive new business opportunities across multiple industries, categories and channels.

GOALS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
As part of the team, you will have the opportunity to:

» Seek out new client relationships using savvy networking and research skills
» Field inquiries and requests for proposals for the agency
» Lead an internal project team during proposal ideations and meetings with clients
» Present the Texturemedia story to our target audience in key client presentations
» Pitch business ideas, strategies, and recommendations to clients and partners
» Identify new sales strategies, channels, and partners within the regional and national market
» Manage new client relationships from first meeting to sign-off
» Execute agency agreements with clients
» Liaison with key Texturemedia team members such as the Creative Team, Project managers, Account Directors, and Technology Group
» Provide comprehensive demos of products to clients
» Manage personal sales goals as they relate to overall agency projections, goals, and objectives

REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have a history of success in identifying, closing and building new clientele. Selected candidate must have solid written and verbal communication skills, be comfortable cold calling, and developing and delivering PowerPoint presentations.

An MBA or MA in Marketing with over 5 years professional experience is desired. Interactive Marketing and Agency experience is a plus.
