Job Description:
Expert Trading Limited, located in Columbia, Maryland, is a book distribution and marketing company involved in the publication, design, and online sales of books, DVDs, and other media. We are a rapidly growing company that requires rapid response to marketing initiatives, sales tracking, and sales analysis. We maintain numerous public web sites that conduct e-commerce or act as portals to niche communities. In the near future, we seek to update many of the sites as well as create new community portals for special interests. Since 1991, we have built a solid customer base through targeted e-commerce and direct mail marketing programs. With the goal of expanding sales in professional niche areas, we are currently seeking a few talented individuals with entrepreneurial spirits, capable minds, and professional goals to handle current needs as well as growth into new markets.
Marketing Coordinator
The individual in this role will be responsible for cultivating strategic industry relationships and leading targeted marketing programs into professional niche areas. He/She must be a creative marketing professional with proven ability to handle the following responsibilities:
Growing affiliate partner programs; database building
Implementing tracking mechanisms for analysis of program results
Planning, creating, and developing marketing campaigns - email, web & print
Copywriting and creation of direct mail marketing pieces
Manage an overall marketing plan; handle email and direct response campaigns - from idea inception to set-up and execution
Work with database and list management; Manage affiliate prospecting and growth
Search engine marketing; direct mail marketing
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2-4 years relevant experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to develop strategic alliances
Proficiency for executing multi-channel promotional campaigns
Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to multi-task; deadline driven
Some travel flexibility; proficiency in all Microsoft programs
Ability to seize fast-breaking opportunities and create new ones
