Job Description:
Do you get fired up about Web strategy, usability, SEO, or web analytics? Then we have the perfect career for you! Penn State World Campus, Penn State's online campus, is looking for a web strategist to manage and ensure strategic implementation of web initiatives. Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent (marketing or IT preferred), plus two years of work-related experience in marketing, IT or related area. Additional relevant work experience preferred. Candidate must have a background in online marketing and possess strong strategic Web skills including search engine optimization, search engine marketing, user needs analysis, audience identification, competitive analysis, as well as Web metrics analysis. Ideal candidate will also possess strong technical skills including HTML, CSS, Content Management Systems, administration and implementation of Web analytics tools such as Google Analytics and Omniture. Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems is desired. Competencies critical to success in this position are leadership, creativity, flexibility, and customer service. Demonstrated ability to work with diverse customers and staff is essential.
