Job Description

The MarCom Manager, Demand Generation and Programs will be a critical addition to the Arbor Networks Marketing Communications team. The primary focus for this position will be to develop the strategy and implement the programs to expand our lead pipeline in the enterprise market, accelerating sales and revenue growth. Additionally, this individual will manage various marketing communications programs to ensure up-to-date, on brand, collateral and sales tools are available to support our worldwide sales and Partner organizations.

The ideal candidate will understand best practices and processes for lead generation and management/nurturing, ensuring that all marketing qualified leads are delivered to our account teams (direct and channel sales). Leads will be measured by conversion to opportunity with the goal of driving new customer acquisition, particularly in the enterprise market space. This position will develop and maintain drip marketing programs that build brand awareness across various vertical market segments including retail, government and financial industries. This role will be essential to Arbor Networks' success, as the marketing pipeline will directly impact our revenue and business goals. Job Responsibilities:

Develop and execute demand generation programs, including webinars, email, telemarketing, Web site, online and print media/advertising, ensuring activities and investments can be tracked and measured.

Manage and execute lead nurturing programs, aligning with Arbor Networks' objectives for lead flow across our marketing automation and CRM systems.

Work with Product Marketing to develop campaign content that is solution-based and focused on customer pain points and/or critical business issues.

Ensure integration and adaptation of campaigns across all target audiences.

Coordinate and lead campaign processes and communications across global geographies.

Work directly with outside resources including freelance partners and marketing agencies/vendors to execute program strategies seamlessly.

Work with Web Marketing Manager on digital marketing/SEM/SEO operations including campaigns, content development, analysis and reporting.

Identify and initiate new campaigns and new opportunities for existing campaigns based on analysis of past performance.

Work closely with appropriate internal teams to ensure all leads are correctly routed and followed up on in a timely manner.

Additional general marketing communications responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Working with internal teams (e.g. Product Marketing) and outside designers/vendors to develop and produce marketing collateral, including data sheets, white papers, support guides, technical briefs, product launch kits and annual security report.

Managing the translation of marketing materials into multiple languages.

Coordinating the printing of marketing materials to support events.

Managing/tracking budget to support marketing communications and lead generation activities and expenses.


Qualifications:

The candidate will have previously created lead/demand generation campaigns in a B2B, technology company, with specific focus on marketing to an enterprise audience. Experience in the network security space a plus. He/she will have had significant experience creating and executing integrated campaigns, with a successful track record of achieving demonstrable results. He/she should be a high-energy, creative, team-oriented, driven individual with a passion for executing successful marketing programs within a complex, global organization. Additionally, candidates should have:

10+ years experience in demand generation and brand-building program creation, execution and measurement.

3-5+ years of experience managing the development of marketing collateral, white papers, and other sales tools; including vendor and budget management.

Experience with marketing automation platforms, in particular, 2 - 4 years using Marketo or similar marketing automation systems is critical to this role. Understanding of CRM systems, including Saleslogix and NetSuite a plus.

Experience in marketing solutions to IT organizations, within the enterprise, across multiple vertical markets.

Experience working with geographically dispersed teams (Europe, Asia, Latin America) and executing campaigns globally.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Superior organizational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects while meeting stringent deadlines. Ability to manage own time effectively.

Superior written, verbal, and presentation skills.

BA or BS in Marketing, Business or related field.
