Description
A SharePoint Architect is required to lead the development of a new client portal website. The individual must be able to execute the development of the portal, based on company requirements, work with internal consultants to find the appropriate portal solution, take the lead through the design and implementation phases as well as establish what maintenance processes will need to be followed.
The SharePointArchitect must have experience with Microsoft SharePoint, C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, SQL/SVR and experience developing SharePoint web parts for portals.
Requirements:
* 5+ years IT experience with a minimum of 4 years of Enterprise Portal development/implementation experience
* 3+ years experience with the following is required: VB.NET ASP.NET, SQL Server, C#
.Net Framework and XML/XSL features.
* Experience with Both WSS (Windows SharePoint Services and SharePoint Portal Server (SPS) V2 (2003/4)
* Experience developing custom web parts
* Experience integrating enterprise content with SharePoint to include: content indexing, personalization, restricting access to content
* Ability to understand the "big picture" and to identify and resolve key issues
* Strong communication, presentation, consulting and documentation skills
* Strong sense of ownership and commitment
* Significant experience on multiple full-life cycle Enterprise projects. Experience should include architecture, development, implementation and integration
* Experience with performance tuning and security on all aspects of a Portal infrastructure
* Experience with MS SQL Server, Windows OS (2000 / 2003) Active Directory or other LDAP, Java, ODBC/JDBC.
* System integration experience including any of the following: ERP, legacy systems, e-mail and calendar systems
