Job Description:
4SIGHT Communications is seeking an experienced interactive design manager. We’re a growing 6-year-old boutique interactive marketing firm helping our clients with traffic generation campaigns, websites and targeted microsites, and extremely usable web applications. We're also in the process of developing a suite of web applications for a niche market. To be the right fit for this position, you must have a strong background in developing creative, engaging, and highly usable web interfaces. You will be responsible for guiding our clients and internal team through the design process, translating client objectives into visual and creative design. Besides having great design skills, you should be fluent in browser technologies such as xHTML and CSS. Great written and verbal communication skills are a must! Candidates located in Chicago are preferred.
Other specific responsibilities:
* Work with 4SIGHT Communications team members and clients in designing web based marketing solutions and interactive applications
* Translate branding requirements into design concepts.
* Guide the client through design process.
* Work with information architects to design and implement engaging, results-oriented, and intuitive web solutions. You will design completely new web sites, create comprehensive web campaigns, and web applications.
* Work closely with client team members to help them articulate their branding and design needs
* Develop highly creative and unique concepts that challenge traditional client thinking while remaining grounded in their needs
Requirements & Qualifications:
* 5 years experience working in web design
* Experience working with information architects in translating wireframes, site maps, functional specifications, and branding requirements into a working site
* Advanced knowledge in xHTML and CSS
* Candidates should be able to submit URLs of their work with a description of the team that developed the site and what role they played
* This candidate should have excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects.
* A proven track-record of creating highly creative solutions that remain grounded in business needs.
