Job Description:
JOB OVERVIEW:

Direct and manage all marketing and communication activities for TMHNC. Develop marketing plans, budgets and objectives in accordance with broad company strategies. Implement a consistent marketing plan, which includes coordination, communication and implementation of all advertising, promotional and inside sales activities. This individual also manages the V.O.C Coordinator as well as all aspects of the Toyota “Voice of the Customer” program.

JOB DUTIES:

· Build effective relationships with TMHNC staff, at all levels

· Ensure maximum team performance by encouraging self improvement through training, schooling, coaching and setting a positive personal example

· Ensure customer satisfaction is always #1 priority with all staff

· Collaborate with CSS and Sales Management to stay apprised of areas requiring more marketing attention.

· Develop programs that encourage all TMHNC employees meet and exceed the criteria for Toyota ’s Excellence and President's Awards. (Communication, incentives, etc.)

· Establish annual corporate communications objectives to support the corporate brand, ensuring goals are met while evaluating program effectiveness through measurable ROI.

· Define and manage innovative public relations strategies to promote TMHNC’s leadership position, including tactics that meet corporate initiatives while increasing awareness of our ability to be a Material Handling solutions provider.

· Oversee the development of marketing communication materials including presentations, advertisements, sales literature, brochures and newsletters.

· Develop an overall strategy for trade-show participation including show selection, budget generation and return on objectives/investment. Manage logistical coordination, booking of exhibition space and the ordering of all appropriate show services.

· Create, publish and manage selected content of the TMHNC web site. Ensure the site content is current and adheres to corporate design standards.

· Oversee creation and implementation of all advertising vehicles, including direct mail, print ads, radio, TV, press releases, etc.

· Ride with sales reps to ensure an understanding of customer needs and opportunities

· Assist in organizing and participate in all sales meetings

· Report immediately any safety or company policy violations to your supervisor

· Follow written policies and procedures in the TMHNC IIPP Program

· Other responsibilities, duties and/or special projects may be assigned, as management deems necessary.


REQUIREMENTS:

The requirements listed below are representative of knowledge, skills and/or abilities required, but not limited to items listed below.

· Bachelors degree in Business or Marketing Communications

· +5 years marketing communications experience preferred

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high quality results

· Self-starter with organizational and multitasking abilities

· Ability to work cross functionally across many levels of organization

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Must be a flexible team player, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.

· Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

· Experience using Photoshop, Illustrator, Visio, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Sitting/Standing/Walking:
Approximately 50% is spent seated at a desk, working on the telephone or at a computer terminal
Approximately 45% is spent standing, squatting, kneeling or moving about the work areas.
Approximately 5% is spent driving Forklift Trucks and equipment
Ability to drive is necessary for training and mentoring Field Technicians and travel to branch locations.

Speaking/Hearing:
Clear diction, correct grammar and acute hearing are necessary for effective communication with clients, vendors, management and employees.

Vision:
Corrected vision close to 20/20 is necessary to effectively use computer screens, drive equipment and vehicles.
