Job Description:

You will define the market opportunity for Mitrix’s solutions and services in its core markets, defining the concise and compelling packaging, positioning, pricing, and placement of its solutions. Key deliverables include sales enablement (tools, collateral, training), market awareness activities (analysts, press, whitepapers, speaking engagements), and pipeline development (seminars, events) to support the beta & referencability programs.


Responsibilities:

- Develop the Marketing Plan based on Product Strategy, Positioning, Channels, Value Proposition, etc., and execute the plan to drive awareness and pipeline.
- Collaborate with account teams and/or external agencies to create sales materials, collateral, white papers and editorial exposure.
- Develop & deliver training to Sales
- Measure and publish the value of products through analytics, case studies and white papers; Model and be accountable for business cases and ROI analyses
- Know the industry, track the competitors, identify the trends, and build the products repository for enhancements and support
- Establish customer relationships and the develop success stories and video testimonials
- Support Proof-of-Concept and Pilot activities with key accounts; Own the beta-testing process
- Serve as a subject matter expert both inside the company and externally with customers and partners.


Requirements:

- 7 to 10 years experience in product marketing - “Been there done that” product marketer. The ideal candidate is from the software industry with deep domain knowledge of supply chain and/or operations management - and some combination of roles including product marketing, product management, sales, and/or business development
- Strong aptitude for determining the optimal way to position products in the market.
- Deep understanding of positioning & strategy vis-à-vis competition
- Experience with high-touch, enterprise sales cycles and ability to work the sales team to close large transactions. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, interpersonal and verbal communication skills; must be comfortable presenting to senior executives
- BS degree in Engineering/Operations/Computer Science
- MBA or graduate degree from a top school in a related topic preferred.
