Job Description:
Austin,TX based Hispanic marketing agency, Mercury Mambo is looking for a highly-motivated, detail-orientated, creative taskmaster with a passion for motivating consumers to take action! We currently have an immediate opening for an Account Supervisor for a major soft drink client. Responsibilities will include: collaboratively creating and managing fully integrated advertising, sales promotions and event marketing programs, strategy development, budget development/management, maintain solid client relationships within a complex client structure, preparation of presentations to sell client new creative/programs/agency services and managing a staff of Account Executives and Assistants. Moderate travel is required.
REQUIREMENTS:
• 6+ years experience in marketing/advertising with a keen understanding of the Hispanic consumer market
• Experience working for a Consumer Package Goods company whose products are distributed through a three tier system (i.e. beer, wine, liquor, soft drinks, juice, etc.) or comparable experience on the agency side leading a team focused on such a client
• Experience creating and managing national promotions for a field sales driven organization
• Expertise in bringing sales and marketing together by developing national and local promotions, product tie-ins, sponsorships, partnerships and POS support materials
• Ability to interact and foster positive relationships with all levels of the client and agency organizations
• Understanding of operations and process
• Strong leadership skills and team orientation, with prior management experience
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• Must maintain a positive attitude, display enthusiasm and have the ability to inspire this in others
• Must be a solid writer, good listener and ability to prioritize
• Bachelors Degree
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required
