The Vice President of Marketing & Product Management is responsible for leading, managing and achieving the primary marketing and product management goals of the company. Activities and responsibilities include support for product revenue growth, profit and other marketing and product management objectives. This person will set the strategic direction and tactical execution for all marketing functions, including short and long term goals for product management. The VP of Marketing & Product Management must demonstrate the drive and creativity to dominate current markets, capture new markets and passionately protect our position as industry leader.

As a member of the senior management team, the VP of Marketing & Product Management is responsible for setting and executing to the vision, strategy and tactical focus for marketing and product management and ultimately our revenue success. This individual drives brand development, marketing and product management with an emphasis on healthcare revenue management, including ICD-9 and CPT coding solutions. The VP of Marketing & Product Management is responsible for ensuring effective product line marketing, publicity, and marketing communications, as well as effective and uniform promotion design and branding.

The VP of Marketing & Product Management will provide vision, leadership and department direction which is both directly executed and delegated to further attainment of Company strategic goals and objectives. Oversees development and execution of all product and service marketing programs including Advertising, Competitive Analysis and Promotion. Ensures ownership of marketing results, and takes corrective action to guarantee achievement of marketing objectives within designated budgets. Monitors external environment. Identifies opportunities to fulfill Company strategy. Resolves conflicts and facilitates changes in the marketing (product) group structure and amongst peer executives to ensure expedient resolution to marketing and other organizational challenges and opportunities. Facilitates the development and growth of all members of market management. Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long-range goals and objectives as part of the Strategic Action Process. Creates product budgets, identifies resource needs, and works with development and other management teams in determining schedule of product releases Develops and forecasts each element of product management (inception to launch); functional specification, product development, versioning, and END OF LIFE. Works closely with development, sales management, client services, finance and HR to achieve long-term and short-term revenue and profit goals. Establishes and maintains an effective system of communications throughout the organization. Inspires direct reports to exceed individual, department and corporate goals. Demonstrates executive management leadership for their own department and as a model for the entire organization both inside and outside of the company.

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Product Management, Advertising or related field required. 7-10 years marketing management experience, minimum of 5 years as the senior decision maker with increasing levels of budgetary and operational management responsibilities 7-10 years product management experience, minimum of 5 years as the senior decision maker with increasing levels of budgetary and operational management responsibilities. Extensive new product/service launches experience. Healthcare technology, including medical products, health information systems or other related healthcare fields.
