Job Description:
Silicon Mountain Holdings Marketing Manager Responsibilities

Strategy Development
• Works with the Executive Team to develop brand positioning, strategy, and tactics through market segmentation and segment targeting
• Works with the Executive Team to develop quantifiable objectives for projected marketing spending
• Works with the Executive Team to analyze/optimize company strategic/financial performance on a weekly/monthly basis leading to increased profits and shareholder value
• Works with the Executive Team to develop branding and brand positioning strategy and tactics for multiple products
• Responsible for maintaining a positive image for the company and its brands and maintaining consistency of messaging in all marketing communications to customers, prospects, shareholders, and general public

Email marketing
• Manages several Web based email management and delivery applications such as Icontact and Gold Lasso
• Responsible for the growth (through purchased leads, Web site traffic, and transactional emails) and management of opt-in email marketing program leads
• Manages customer/transactional-based email marketing programs leading to increased subscriptions to opt-in email marketing program
• Manages permission-based, opt-in email marketing program including tracking and deliverability
• Responsible for compliance with CAN-SPAM rules and regulations
• Maintains a knowledge of industry trends and email marketing best practices to increase opt-in subscribers and improve email deliverability
• Manages Web cart abandonment email program to increase conversion rates, identify potential technical issues and improve customer understanding

Ecommerce
• Works with the Director of Ecommerce to optimize e-Commerce oriented Web sites leading to increased conversion rates, orders, and revenue
• Responsible for the creation and management of Web site copy, content, graphics, and messaging

Marketing and Graphic Design Support for Direct Sales, eCommerce and Operations
• Implements successful multi-touch mailing campaigns – with many exceeding 100,000 recipients
• Creates presentations for the CEO and CFO aimed at potential investors and strategic business partners
• Responsible for the copy, design, printing, and management of all marketing collateral
• Creates, manages and prints corporate identity collateral such as business cards, letterhead, envelopes, etc.
• Works with Operations to create and produce product branding elements such as packaging, labels, badges, stickers, dome tags, etc.
• Works with an outside agencies in managing re-branding campaigns and Web site redesigns
• Responsible for the creation and organization of all company/brand artwork, stock photography and creative materials
• Creates multimedia presentations for use at off-site events
• Manages messaging in all customer contacts through email templates and improved Sales Team training
• Provides PDF support for Accounting, Operations, Sales, and the Executive Team.
• Develops effective standard and rich media banner advertisements for use in online advertising campaigns


Required Computer Skills
• Adobe Creative Suite 3 Design Premium applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, InDesign and Flash)
• Quark Xpress 6.5
• Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Entourage and PowerPoint),
• Web based email management and delivery applications such as Icontact and Gold Lasso
• Working knowledge of HTML
• Working knowledge of Web analytical applications such as Omniture SiteCatalyst and Google Analytics
• Comfortable in both Mac and PC environments
