Vice President of Marketing

Job Responsibilities:
Position reports directly to the CEO and will be a member of the Senior Management team
Research and identify target markets and industry verticals to penetrate
Develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies
Manage the planning and execution of the company’s overall marketing strategies and programs for both corporate positioning and event properties (CollegeWeekLive, Virtual Energy Forum, CardioCareLive, etc..)
Build and lead professional marketing staff and support team.
Prepare and manage allocation of marketing budget and resources

Job Requirements:

MBA degree coupled with 5-7 years of solid experience developing and executing marketing programs within the Research, Internet, Interactive Marketing or Agency arena
Proven Internet/Technology background and experience with online marketing are important criteria for success
Experience in Education, Healthcare and Enviornment/Green/Energy verticals a plus
Must have the ability to work effectively in a team based "roll up your sleeves" culture
Project management experience, with a demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities
Proven individual contributor and collaborator/team player
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills as well as a blend of intuitive thinking
Proven presentation skills and quantitative analysis are a must
Willingness to travel occasionally
