Senior Marketing Programs Manager

This position is in Emeryville, Ca.

Description
The Senior Marketing Programs Manager will do the research required to develop, plan, execute and measure integrated marketing campaigns that drive demand and qualified marketing and sales leads to ultimately increase sales for all LyrisHQ products for Lyris, Inc.

The Senior Marketing Programs Manager reports to the Director of Marketing Programs.

Responsibilities
• Ownership of the demand and lead generation for the complete line of LyrisHQ products. Currently, this is LyrisHQ and LyrisHQ Agency Edition.
• Work closely with the Marketing Programs Team as well as Creative Services, PR, Sales, Sales Operations and Product Management to gain a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities, roles and cross-functional plans to optimize your own marketing programs.
• All necessary research to develop the best marketing programs to achieve defined business objectives for the LyrisHQ products, and to support the Lyris corporate brand and objectives.
• Develop, plan and execute all marketing plans for the LyrisHQ products.
• Manage the allocated budget for these marketing programs.
• Development of appropriate sales tools to support their goals and the programs you develop to drive demand and leads for the LyrisHQ products.
• Measure, report and analyze results of all marketing programs.

Requirements
• 5 – 7 years of integrated marketing program management in a software or technology company.
• A minimum of one year of senior marketing experience. This may include the management of people or the management of a large budget and/or revenue goal.
• Demonstrated success in driving qualified marketing and sales leads.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; writing samples will be requested.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively interact with people who have differing work styles from your own.
• The ability to capably manage projects, delegate when needed, prioritize, juggle numerous projects and project details, and communicate upline.
• An above average understanding of email and online marketing best practices, CAN-SPAM laws, direct mail and/or SEM/pay-per-click (PPC) is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Lyris products and NetSuite are a big plus.
