Job Description:
Responsible for researching, developing and managing strategic cause-related marketing strategies that will form strategic alliances between Kiwanis International and other for-profit and not-for-profit organizations or causes that align with Kiwanis International’s mission and vision.

Prerequisites:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or equivalent degree
4-6 years of marketing and cause related marketing experience in the for-profit or not-for-profit industries
Strong relationships with PR agencies and extensive contacts in the cause marketing field
Several years of experience pitching and/or managing cause relationships
Significant marketing and branding experience
A solid understanding of the business value of philanthropy, including the advancement of nonprofit causes and missions, while also delivering strong value to corporate partners
Demonstrated ability to think on your feet, and to negotiate and close successful partnerships
Excellent project management skills
Experience in developing strategic plans
Ability to take control of a project from inception to completion
Ability to influence and communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
Knowledge of current marketing and cause marketing techniques
Documented success in developing marketing and cause marketing alliances
Demonstrates technical marketing skills and knowledge of non-profit and for-profit alliances
Creation and delivery of presentations
Experience working with nonprofits in a sales, business development or marketing role a plus
Detail oriented, strategic thinker
Excellent written and verbal communications
Strong active listening, relationship-building, consulting and client management skills
Strong work ethic and effectiveness at working collaboratively
Microsoft Office Suite products; with proficiency in PowerPoint, Internet proficiency
Microsoft Outlook – utilization of calendar and management tools
Some weekend work required, Some domestic and international travel required
Kiwanis family experience a plus
Multilingual a plus
