Job Description:
As the ECommerce Marketing Associate for HarvardBusiness.org, you will work with internal Marketing and Technical departments and third-party partners to optimize the overall performance and merchandising of our website. This fast-paced and challenging opportunity will allow you to make a significant contribution to the growth of the audience and eCommerce efforts of HarvardBusiness.org.

Major Responsibilities:
• Traffic email campaign requests and campaign assets to meet deadlines and notify appropriate persons as necessary
• Configuring all new products on our website using our existing commerce platform
• Ensure products appear correctly online, monitoring the results of those products, and optimizing web usability as needed
• Utilize sales analysis and profit criteria to select best performing repeat items for website
• Set up, test, and deploy email newsletter templates working with our web-based email service provider
• Develop campaign performance reports and distribute on a regular basis
• Implement list segmentation strategies for targeted email campaigns
• Proactively identify and resolve email production issues, propose solutions and escalate to the appropriate person as necessary
• Fulfill other production and administrative responsibilities as needed to support the marketing team.

Required Skills/Knowledge:
• Excellent organizational and project management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• At least 2 years' working experience in Internet Production (XHTML/CSS with non-WYSIWYG editors, Photoshop) with specific knowledge of HTML email deliverability issues
• Strong email analytics and quantitative skills
• Knowledge of CAN-SPAM and privacy regulations
• Ability to think creatively about marketing testing techniques and options
• Ability to quickly identify and address operational and process issues
