Job Description:
Sonicbids is seeking an experienced marketing professional who is passionate about developing and delivering the Sonicbids brand. This role focuses on marketing communications and is responsible for identifying growth opportunities that help with the distribution of the Sonicbids brand online and offline and adding value to the Sonicbids user experience. It is a full-time position on-site at our offices in Boston, MA and may involve occasional travel.
Responsibilities:
* Handles day-to-day project management for marketing team made up of designers, marketing managers, marketing coordinators and interns
* Develops marketing website content, printed collateral and swag
* Works closely with product managers to create copy in support of Sonicbids.com web application
* Manages and implements brand guidelines (http://www.sonicbids.com/guidelines)
* Supports branded marketing team (http://www.sonicbids.com/brandedmarketing) with creative concepting and execution
* Manages event presence
* Performs work in a positive and professional manner
Qualifications:
* 7-10 years work experience in marketing or related field
* Prior marketing experience at an established technology company preferred
* Excellent copywriting skills a must
* Exceptional attention to detail
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven, dynamic work environment
* Knowledge and use of social media
* Experience with a website CMS a plus
* Experience on both client side and agency side a plus
