If humans can conceive an idea, chances are good soon enough they'll turn it into reality. Think Star Trek communicator (cell phones) or tricorder (tablet computers)... and, now, Google glasses that "stream information to the wearer's eyeballs in real time." What's next? Google contact lenses? And, eventually, brain and body implants? Soon enough, we'll be communicating by thought alone... Can the hive-mind be far behind? Resistance is futile.
