Four Blogs You Should Be Reading
Published on April 2, 2008

If you're a regular reader of Get to the Point, you've probably noticed we have a few favorite bloggers. Each approaches marketing from a different perspective, but what they share in common is an ability to articulate practical concepts that just might change the way you market your product or service. With the proviso that this is by no means a comprehensive list, here's a sampling of the bloggers you should be reading on a regular basis:

Seth Godin's Blog: The author of books like Meatball Sundae, The Dip and All Marketers Are Liars, Seth Godin plays a major role in shaping the marketing world's zeitgeist. A prolific blogger, his posts run the gamut from brief observations to detailed mini-manifestos.

Drew's Marketing Minute: Not only does Drew McLellan offer solid marketing advice in easy-to-comprehend terms, he generates lots of new content on a regular basis. If you're looking for ideas you can implement today, this is where to find them.

Church of the Customer: Ben McConnell and Jackie Huba, who co-authored the book Citizen Marketers, use their blog to focus on word of mouth marketing; it's a must-read for those who want to cultivate their customer evangelists.

MarketingProfs Daily Fix: At the risk of appearing self-congratulatory, we'll include our own Daily Fix blog as an excellent digest of thought-provoking ideas. Contributors often host interesting debates on various marketing issues.

The Po!nt: There's a reason we highlight these blogs in Get to the Point newsletters—add them to your daily or weekly browsing.
