Three Keys to Delivering World-Class Service
Milton Hershey once said that quality was the best kind of advertising in the world. For your company to be successful, the service provided must be of the highest quality possible. Focus on delivering world-class service first, then (and only then) consider marketing it.

In other words, if your company's service stinks, fix that first. Here's how.

Here's a discussion many small business marketers will relate to. You would LOVE to hire a professional services firm to produce a $15,000 research project for you, but you only have $3,000. Can you come up with useful research information on such a small budget? What are the options? Are they reliable? These questions are explored in today's Lessons Learned.

There are lots of us forum participants who get a kick out of brainstorming company names and taglines. Some Askers receive incredible value for the points they offer. These are typically the ones who post plenty of background info and participate enthusiastically in the conversation. These Askers benefit from a thoughtful exploration of their company's positioning and often walk away seeing their business in a new light.

But sometimes the discussion is more basic than that. It takes on a game show quality, as in this posting where the only criteria are that the name and tag should be "unique," "meaningful" and beginning with the letter "R." Notice how several community members rise to the challenge.
