Most marketers at small and midsize businesses say they believe that marketing tools powered by artificial intelligence (AI) will help them save time, keep headcount in check, and limit costs, according to recent research from Unbounce.

The report was based on data from a survey conducted in April and May 2022, among 401 people responsible for marketing decisions at businesses in Canada and the US with 2-99 employees.

Some 97% of respondents say they believe AI-powered tools will reduce time spent on marketing tasks, 95% say they believe the tools will reduce the need to hire additional marketing headcount, and 92% say they believe AI tools will decrease costs.

Some 15% of respondents say they believe AI-powered marketing tools have already had a positive impact on their business, 28% say they believe the tools will have a positive impact by the end of 2022, and 40% say they believe AI tools will have a positive impact in the next 2-3 years.
