To find out, researchers at Fractl and Search Engine Land analyzed the LinkedIn posts of 75 SEO experts that referenced key AI-driven SEO terms.

The researchers found the most commonly used AI-related SEO terms by thought-leaders are "AIO" (artificial intelligence optimization) and "GEO" (generative engine optimization).

The AI-related term in LinkedIn posts by SEO leaders that's associated with the most positive sentiment is "answer search optimization."

There is a significant gap in positive sentiment between experts and the general population on LinkedIn across nearly all AI-related SEO terms.

Just over one-third of the SEO experts included in the study consistently post on LinkedIn with measured optimism about AI’s role in search.
