Frequently Asked Questions

What is XEO and the Future of Search?

XEO and the Future of Search is a free event from MarketingProfs and Search Engine Journal about the new rules of XEO—the intersection of SEO, GEO, and AEO. This 10-session event features sessions on how to get found today, whether your target audience starts their search in a search engine like Google or chooses an AI chatbot like ChatGPT or Claude. The event takes place live on January 30, 2026, from 11:30am–4:00pm ET. You can stream the recordings after the live event wraps.

How much does it cost to attend?

Zip. Zero. Nada. Attending XEO and the Future of Search is free for subscribers of MarketingProfs and Search Engine Journal—you just need to add your name to the registration list.

Can I bring my whole department?

Sure thing! Send everyone to the event page to register

Can I share my registration with my work bestie?

Each attendee must register separately, and sharing your access with others is against our T&Cs. But the good news is, besties get in free, too, so simply have them register themselves.

I'm busy during one of the live session blocks. Can I watch what I missed afterward?

Yes! You can stream all event recordings once the event wraps.

Which online platforms do you use? Are there A/V requirements?

We'll use Airmeet for XEO and the Future of Search, which you can access directly using the Chrome web browser. Unless otherwise noted, we'll host all presentations in webinar format with typed chat and Q&A (meaning no mics, cameras, or hard pants required!).

Will I get a copy of the session slides?

Yes, you can download the slides starting the day of the live event. We'll post them to the individual session page.

Does this event have sponsors? Will you share my contact information?

XEO and the Future of Search is an event brought to you jointly by MarketingProfs and Search Engine Journal. By registering for this event, you agree to become a subscriber to both if you are not one already. Neither of us will use your personally identifiable information without your permission, other than to send you editorial and marketing emails.

Safe online spaces are important to me. Do you have an attendee conduct policy?

We want to create a welcoming experience for all attendees. We expect everyone to abide by our Code of Conduct. We reserve the right to remove anyone who violates the Code from the event.
