We use the Gregorian calendar nowadays. But fun fact: in the Roman calendar, only 10 of the 12 months were named. Winter was an unorganized "dead" period, so January and February were nameless and the year started in March. Harsh, but also this time of year when winter feels a bit endless... I get it.
