What is Shakeup B2B?

Shakeup B2B is a week-long PRO-exclusive event experience held April 11–13, 2023.

The week's highlight is a one-day online conference on April 13 featuring keynotes and concurrent sessions, which answer the question, "What can I do this year to shake up my marketing and deliver better results?" It's about breaking free of the status quo, experimenting with new (and sometimes weird!) ideas, and creating a more fulfilling, successful career.

What is PRO?

From deep-dive Master Classes to interactive Working Webinar mini-workshops, this premium subscription brings you TONS of great content on the topics that matter to B2B marketers. Plus, monthly Ask an Expert one-on-one consulting sessions, an exclusive new community on Slack, and more. We're always adding new, PRO-exclusive benefits that help you solve those pain points that keep you up at night.

I'm not PRO. How do I attend?

Easy?simply upgrade to PRO! You don't even need to buy your PRO subscription first. Simply sign up for Shakeup B2B now, and we'll automatically upgrade you to PRO as part of your conference registration.

What's included in my registration?

A Shakeup B2B conference-only pass provides access to the one-day online conference on April 13, 2023, plus the chance to sign up for attendee-exclusive one-on-one Ask an Expert consulting sessions and limited-capacity roundtable discussions on April 11–12. Workshops are not part of a regular conference pass.

How much does it cost to attend?

If you're already PRO, Shakeup B2B is free to you. (If your PRO subscription expires before the event, you'll need to renew before you can attend.) Add one or both workshops to your registration for $395 each.

If you're not yet PRO, your price is $279, and we'll automatically upgrade you to PRO as part of your registration. Workshops are an additional $395 each.

I've already registered, but I'd like to attend a workshop. What do I do?

Please contact customer support by email at to change your registration.

Can I bring my whole department?

Sure thing! Simply upgrade to a PRO Team account for $198 per person, and voila! All team members can now register for Shakeup B2B for free.

Can I share my registration with my work bestie?

Sorry, each attendee must register separately, and it's against our T&Cs to share your access with others. We'll only permit registered PRO members into the conference, workshop, or other activity?including Ask an Expert appointments and limited-space Roundtable discussions. But if your bestie is also PRO, they're in luck?they can register for a regular, conference-only pass for free, too!

My PRO subscription expired. Can I still attend?

If your PRO subscription expires before the event, we'll automatically cancel your registration. You'll need to renew before you can log into the event platform. You can see your current renewal price and manage your subscription under My Account. Contact customer support by email at if you need help.

I'm busy on April 13. Am I able to watch the sessions I miss afterward?

Yes! Conference day sessions will be recorded and available on-demand through June 30, 2023. If you participate in Ask an Expert, we'll email you a recording of your 20-minute session. We do not record workshops or roundtable discussions. You must attend these programs live.

Which workshops are you offering?

We've lined up two optional workshops during Shakeup B2B week: "Marketing Writing for New Writers and Non-Writers" on April 11 and "Attract and Nurture: Demand Generation" on April 12.

"Marketing Writing for New Writers and Non-Writers" is a new version of our previous "Every Writes" workshop. If you previously attended that workshop, this might not be the best workshop for you (unless you're looking to earn certification).

Likewise, "Attract and Nurture: Demand Generation" covers the same information shared in our "Attract, Nurture, Sell" workshop at B2B Forum 2022 and our "Demand Generation" workshop offered at B2B Forum Online fall 2021. If you attended either of those workshops in the past, instructor Kenda Macdonald's workshop at B2B Forum 2023 is a great next step for you.

What do I get when I register for a workshop?

Workshops include four hours of live, online interaction with your instructor, individual hands-on exercises, and peer discussion; on-demand companion e-learning; a comprehensive workbook; handouts and templates; and a chance to earn MarketingProfs Certification. Sorry, we do not distribute slides or session recordings.

Do you offer certification to workshop attendees?

Yes, Shakeup B2B workshop attendees are eligible for MarketingProfs Certification–MarketingProfs Certified Marketing Writer or MarketingProfs Certified Demand Generation Marketer I. Simply attend the live workshop, complete the companion e-learning, and pass the certification exam with a 70% or higher score to earn your credential.

How do I book an Ask an Expert appointment?

You'll be able to book Shakeup B2B Ask an Expert consulting sessions starting mid-March. Our April appointments are available exclusively to Shakeup B2B registrants on a first-come, first-served basis. Our 20-minute Ask an Expert appointments are a one-on-one experience. While we will allow you to bring one additional person with you, that person must be a PRO member in good standing at the time of the appointment and must be registered for Shakeup B2B. We cannot admit them into the online meeting room if they are not. If you choose to bring an additional person, you must indicate their name in your notes at the time of booking.

How do I sign up for a roundtable discussion?

You'll be able to sign up for roundtable discussions starting mid-March. These are video-based, peer-to-peer learning and networking experiences facilitated by a topical subject matter expert, so be ready to participate (on camera!). They are not speaker presentations or ask me anything Q&A sessions. Each roundtable is limited to 15 attendees and is available exclusively to Shakeup B2B registrants on a first-come, first-served basis.

Which online platforms do you use? Are there A/V requirements?

We use Big Marker to host the one-day conference and on-demand access to session recordings. Workshops, Ask an Expert, and roundtables take place in Zoom with audio- and video-enabled, so please be sure your camera and microphone are in tip-top shape.

Will I get a copy of the session slides?

Most of our concurrent speakers provide their slides or other handouts for you to download from the conference platform. Slides for workshops are not available.

Does this event have sponsors? Will you share my contact information?

Shakeup B2B is a sponsor-supported event. While they do not sway our overall program content, sponsors present a limited number of educationally-focused sessions as indicated on the event agenda. By registering for this event, you agree that we may share your registration information with these sponsors. They will not use your personally identifiable information without your permission other than to send you information about their products and services. We want to create a welcoming experience for all PRO members who attend any MarketingProfs event?onsite and online. We expect all attendees, speakers, sponsors, staff, and contractors to abide by our Code of Conduct. We reserve the right to remove anyone who violates the Code from the event.
