Dos and Don'ts? Do's and Don'ts? Do's and Don't's? Which one is correct? See the second item in this issue's table of contents, below, for the style we've adopted at MarketingProfs; that's apparently also the AP Stylebook's choice. The Chicago Manual of Style, though, goes with Dos and Don'ts.

So which one should you use? As usual, Grammar Girl gives reasonable advice: "Unless your editor wishes otherwise, if you write books, spell it dos and don'ts; and if you write for newspapers, magazines, or the Web, spell it do's and don'ts. If you're writing for yourself, spell it any way you want."

And with that approach in mind, feel free to pick and choose from your menu of today's marketing know-how choices:
