This Week: Mixer & Mobile

Things are heating up for the MarketingProfs Digital Marketing Mixer, which kicks off in Chicago October 21 and 22. I have so much to say about it, that I can't quite fit it all here. But let me start by mentioning a few highlights that really set this event apart from any other marketing event.

(I wondered just now if I was bragging in that last sentence. Is it bragging if it comes from simply feeling proud of the program our team has put together? I've decided no.)

So here's a few things I think make our Mixer special:

One-on-one learning. Why hire a consultant to come to you when you can save money and stop by Chicago?

Interactive discussions and breakfast roundtables. These are perhaps my favorite part of a MarketingProfs event, when we all get a chance to learn from each other.

The well-organized program itself. No surprises here (in the bad sense of the word "surprise"). Certain sessions in our agenda are B2B, some are B2C. You know what you are getting: There's no guesswork, so you never have to "vote with your feet" and exit a session because it isn't what you thought it would be.

I'm just getting rolling here... and there's tons more I could say. Please check out the details, and I hope to see you in Chi-town!

Also this week, we have a new baby in da house: Our latest collection of case studies, Mobile Marketing Success Stories: How 11 companies are boosting sales with SMS, mobile websites, mobile ads, and Bluetooth marketing, debuts this week. The 11 stories show you how mobile campaigns build brand awareness, increase sales, strengthen engagement... all that great stuff companies want to do, all the time. The 11 companies profiled—like Rémy Martin, Warner Bros. and more—really are on the cutting edge of mobile, and there's plenty of lessons to learn from them. (Yes, even for small businesses.)

Of course, Mobile Marketing Success Stories is just one of hundreds of great Premium-only resources you'll find on our site. And now, you can become a Premium Plus member at a great rate: Save 20 percent with coupon code MOBILE20 (expires 10/11/2009). Check out all the goodies that are rolled into Premium Plus membership here.
