    Great collection of statistics. One underlying thread: by the year 2020 ALL businesses will be digital. How well you prepare for it now will determine whether or not you are in a position to benefit. For technology marketers it creates an opportunity that follows your recommendation for persona and ethnographic research: Technographic research.

    Is your target audience tech/digital savvy? Are they overwhelmed by the changes in their business due to technological innovation, etc. As businesses and individuals adapt to the technological advances, it factors directly into their pain points. Marketers that work digital advances into marketing strategies that demonstrate they know their clients'/customers' businesses (and pains) will likely see greater results than those that do not.
