Trade Show Display Ideas - Unconventional

Posted by Anonymous on 105 Points
The company I work for is in the IT industry, and we are going to be participating in a conference/trade show this coming fall that requires a table-top only display. We currently only have a large full-size booth display, and feel that our needs for a tabletop-only option are rather limited to this event (and maybe one other throughout the year). Because of this, I am trying to come up with creative solutions to market ourselves and display our image at this event, without purchasing a typical tabletop display.

One idea that I have thought about have included purchasing a plasma screen tv to run a demo/company video on...however, this may not prove to be the easiest option to transport/setup.

I have a decent available budget (around $1000), as well as a means to create a number of presentation pieces as needed (presentations, flash demos, videos, etc).

Any creative ideas/suggestions on how I can display our company image atop a 6ft. wide table? (Height restrictions are 5ft. above table...)

Thanks for the input, however I'm not so worried with saving money - It's absolutely okay if I use all $1000, as long as the visual impact of the display works well and can be re-used (albeit, possibly with modifications) at future table-top only events.

My key hang-up is trying to come up with a creative way to grab people's attention and display my company's information in an informative, high tech and catchy way.

    Any other ideas?

You can use small 8 x 10s put into acrylic picture holders as long as the images grab your audience and are appropriate to tell your story. Have a nice logo-tablecloth and that customizes your tabletop. Plants or flowers are great if you have the room on the table. You can use a laptop to demo your product if that is logistically easier than the plasma screen. You can have a looped presentation and/or banners on showing on the laptop.
