Global Strategy Of Apple Computers

Posted by Anonymous on 250 Points
I'm doing research on the Apple Computers company and would appreciate if any of the following questions, or anything remotely related to them, could be answered. How is the firm organized (i.e. global structure)? Where in the global market does apple operate? Are Apple products standardized worldwide or do they need a considerable amount of modification? Where does Apple have any branches abroad? When and how did Apple enter the global market? And any other info on Apple's global marketing mix.

I think soon you will be hearing from the regulars encouraging you to do your homework yourself. >.< The questions you posed can be answered through sources from the web and library. But prehaps, let me share with you how I would get those answers.

    1) Apple is a huge corporation. I believe it should be listed. Listed companies = will have investor's resources that gives you an insight of the internal workings. E.g the annual reports. This is what i found.

    2) I assumed you just started in marketing. Apple is super duper Uber famous in case studies and theories (e.g positioning) and about how they started and ended up today. Go Wiki and read up about the history of Apple.

Trust me, you can find heaps of information on Apple.

That just depends on how much time you invest in gathering infomation.

    Good Luck with your assignment.

You're correct. This is my first marketing class. Thank you very much though for the insight. I've never done research like this before and my professor is pretty vague in his descreption of what he wanted in the report so I really wasn't sure where to begin. This will surely help get the ball rolling. And by the way, I do do my own homework. I'm a 4.0 math major with a business minor. In this case I just didn't know where to get started.
